No! The Smart Savers Initiative offers you a smart thermostat at no cost. Plus, you’ll receive free professional installation with a registered Program Ally. You will have the choice to choose a Google Nest Thermostat E or an ecobee3 lite smart thermostat to have installed in your home.
The Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program is committed to increasing the comfort of your home, managing energy usage and reducing costs. We know that paying your energy bill can be a real challenge for many households, so we offer ways to save on energy-efficient products, home upgrades and much more, all through the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program. In this case, we cover ALL costs of the smart thermostat for eligible customers.
Single-family customers in the Ameren Illinois service territory that currently have Program Ally coverage are eligible. Please refer to the participating ZIP code list and verify your eligibility here.
If you are eligible for free installation based on your ZIP code, you will be able to choose from a network of local, qualified and registered Program Allies. The Program Ally will call you within 10 business days to schedule an appointment. See if I qualify.
